Seven Seas

Seven Seas

A Poem by Mauricio Montoya

you're just a pirate girl
your ship never docks
setting sail for lonely hearts
in a cold barren sea.
known to drink a pint or two
but never to walk a blank
steady as she goes,
she always knows
knowledge
bless her little stars
always get you far
 good catch
sea worthy
enjoys the moon light
But never afraid,
of what the wind may bring.
Because she's has heart,
and the seven seas,
is where,
 She always stay port.
bless her heart.

Your words are loving and appreciative here, Mauricio. Plus, you've used your own special phrasing ~ here comparing your darling with the come and go of time and sea, ever moving, but ever there ~ perhaps to purefy or wash away past hurt in all its forms, ' .. her little stars ~ always get you far ~ good catch ~ sea worthy ~ enjoys the moon light ~ But never afraid,. .. ' seems she's wise too. Finely written, sir.

This is a beautifully original way to say "thank you" in a poem tribute! I love the affection & playfulness you impart by using the "pirate" analogy thru-out, done with skill & clever crafting! I haven't seen you around (on my newsfeed) lately & I hope you're doing well & writing with inspiration! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

To me this is about a woman who is much like a gypsy constantly moving beating to the own drum rhythm in her heart. Fearless and loving all at the same time

Pirates are strong and a woman pirate is a wanderer looking for love and adventure, but perhaps hasn't yet found it. so she wanders the Seven Seas in search. She is kind and fearless. Nice content, lovely words.
