A New Home

A New Home

A Poem by tHe
"

A little worm, wanting a new home I guess.

"

Charlie would scream, said his ears would burn,

because inside there lived a worm.

The worm would eat Charlie's brain all day,

until the boy would run away.

Away from his family, friends and foes,

away from his teacher with the large nose.

You see, all the worm wanted, was a new home,

with a large fountain and a garden gnome.

The boy said he'd find a house for him,

with a tall fountain, in which to swim.

So finally, after years and years,

the worm eventually left Charlie's ears.

He left his brain, his head and mind,

and thanked him for being so very kind.

He said "I'm sorry, for making your ears burn,

please forgive me for I am just a worm."

This is a fun and cute poem I wrote. Many people thought it was metaphorical, but trust me, I didn't mean it to be.
