Don't We All?

Don't We All?

A Poem by Tinasha LaRayé

a common question

Don’t we all want to fall in love

And dwell in love?

To hold love’s hand

And wipe love’s tears?

To give, to gain,

To sacrifice?

To be vulnerable to ecstasy,

Twice over, misery?

To grow old and feeble

Content within bliss?

To live with richness

To die in the arms of unconditional belonging?

Don’t we all?
