bitter earth

bitter earth

A Poem by Tinasha LaRayé
"

In lieu of all the natural disasters. I am in no way mad at God...I understand that we are in end days - but this piece is a manifestation of my frustration. Just being true to my emotions....

"

Mother Earth

you are so cold sometimes

we mess up, yes

but why do you turn and bite us?

Spank us - please

Teach us - I beg you

but your bite stings and the open wounds show no signs of healing

earth's sorrow

I question whether or not heaven can heal

the ripest most rotten fruit this tree did yield

we dine

and ask for seconds

poisoned

and living with the defects

you shove down your female dogma

and expect us not to call you, ‘b***h’

Mother

I want not your bitter blistering bits of life anymore

and don't you dare stand ‘tween me and the door

call me only, and I mean only, when Father gets home

I report ONLY to Him from here on...

I love you

but that can only hold me captive for so long

bitter Mother Earth and your bitter bloody fruit....

be gone.
