White Lilies

White Lilies

A Poem by Tobias Søgaard
"

Inspired by Dylan Thomas' poem "Do not go gentle into that night"

"
I kneel by lilies white against black stone
the clouds are grey but sun is shining bright
me by myself, a garden full of bones
I kneel by lilies white against black stone
forgiveness wins, departure is postponed
"Do not go gentle into that good night"
The quote weighs heavier against black stone
yet clouds have fled, and sun is shining bright
