Tidal Brush

Tidal Brush

A Poem by Nisreen

The morning night as waves form
I stare right into you

Crimson weight

As we brush across
Like the most gentle tide

Subtle sun

Seated in perfect position
Our clocks have aligned

Warm shores

A sigh traveled through a shield
You held your composure

Luring gaze

Driving me to your safety
Rebellious is my nature

Crisp white

For you are nurture

As i held my breathing heart
Your eyes pierce so many shades

Serene lock

From cascading blue
To the eager red within

Bristle blow

It dawned on me
In moments positioned

Tender melt

You are the future
Touching my hands

Hues of light

Pulling me to safety
I side tracked to listen

Render

As my thoughts float on your boat

Opal ode

I may have detoured
But you stole my soul

Tidal gentle whisper
Telling me there is no rear view mirror

Only you
Holding us together

This piece goes so well with the photograph. The beauty, the danger, the path it takes us on and our connections held in place, no matter what is thrown our way.

You're wecome
I find this to be a tale of faith... whether it be with yourself, a loved one or God. Anyway you look at it this is quite inspiring.

The only time we should look back is to see how far we have come.
