Visage

Visage

A Poem by Precious Seconds

Angels may remain by her lips
Waiting for the right time

Flowing whisper wash away
Another destined bloom

Moonlight wave all of a word
Made of us printings read

Come close to a wave
As it softly laces you

Beauty aspiring a sublime fire
Lifeless line petal falls

Soft yet true
The gleaming lights evade

Cages running through air
Devoid of reflection

Translucent waters tamed
Wishing light held your hands

'Visage'
'Precious Seconds,
Sad, sweet and cumulative all at once are above words.
I see mention of waves, of the moon but the mention of angels in first line caught
my attention.
'Angels may remain by her lips
Waiting for the right time'
It feels like they are waiting, watching and caring about the subject of this poem.
'Flowing whisper wash away
Another destined bloom'
A beautiful poem with a transcendent feeling to it of seeing a season, a person end
but the memory remaining. It felt like that to me anyway.
Thanks for a poem to ponder...something I like to do.
Kathy

this is just a lovely poem..there is a "sublime fire" of sharp imagery...
i just let this one touch me like i was sitting by the ocean supping the waves.
