A Poem by Cindy Marietta

I look around at others faces as

they live the lives they should.

Not asking questions and

doing as they’re told.

They don’t seem sad but

they don’t seem happy

Rather just stagnant-

worrying about things

they shouldn’t

and ignoring the things

they should.

They talk to their friends about

things they don’t care about and

their friends listen as if

they care too.

It’s all a big f*****g lie.

Not much is worth talking about.

Not much is worth living about, either.

The restless soul sees more than it wants to, especially when it is tied to one place mentally and physically...you've seen the existential farcical absurdity of life, now you need to move or that s**t will kill you slowly...get on the move and start adventuring....

Really makes one think... Its a little depressing. But in an intellectually stimulating way.
