Hope Never Fades

Poem I made for a friend in need

Wipe that tear away from your eye

The sun may not shine all the time

But as long as we’re here, we’ll help you get by

 

The friendship we have is one that I’ll always treasure

Even if it means I’ll be bound forever.

 

Slowly down this lonely road you’ll see images left and right

Both of good and bad, and one may be particularly full of plight

 

But you have a good heart something worth shining over

The light of wonder and mystic means

Deems worthy of natural essences that it seems

No matter the path you choose

There’ll always be someone for you.

 

As I go about my usual business

Walking along the path of crooked insignificance

I see a shadow lurking behind

The waves of sorrow washes through me as I look deep into your eyes

How I can be of help is surely beyond me

But fear not my friend it will not be to your demise.

This person has a wonderful friend in you. As if you are so emphatic the sadness and sorrow flows to you also.. and it does when someone you care for feels so bad.. if you have a heart it does, and you do by your words.
