She travels in a world unknown.

Unbeknownst to man she cowers in fear

Waiting for someone to hold her dear.

Keep her afloat in the endless dreams

Of seeming nothingness in the throes of her distress.

She screams inside so no one will hear

The darkness it fills her

It yearns for more waiting to be unleashed.

The power inside consumes

The mystery of it all is assumed

In the form of a sleek fox all covered in blue

She longs for your words

Where promises were made till morning awakes

The sun in her lids fall apart as she crumbles

Into deep slumber.

A whisper in the night chokes

You whisper the words I love you.

this is surely one of the most incredible poems i have ever read. It greatly signifies the salient aspiration for the speaker's lover to heal her, but the darkness in one form or another is too overpowering. the connotation from the phrase 'sleek fox all covered in blue' is very subtle to express the pall. By mentioning 'she' instead of in the first person narrative, it gives the verse more prominence. It enables to hearken the lover who may have been unaware of her 'throes of distress'.

This is mystical. It thrives on what is unspoken of.
