My Air

My Air

A Poem by ...

I flew over high mountains

I could paint so many landscapes

with my eyes looking down

on the sea and fields

The sun in me warmed my soul

The wind was kind and gentle

You were everything inside of me

My beloved Air

You were the space,

everything around me,

nothing more than air

For my blood, lungs, and heart

For you, I lived without awareness

so dreaming and thinking the sky

I found myself in you,

and you, my large cloud

my wave of passion

The storm of my core

mingled with me in our skies.

My Air and I

Beautiful evocation - a feeling of being immersed and at one with nature and being able to reflect that feeling.

Thank you for stopping by. Glad you liked it, dear poet :)
These are great analogies for love. Nature will teach us all we could know of love.
Great poetic capture and embellishment on a simple human need...

Thank you again, kind sir, for all your time in my space
Air is a powerful imagery used to refer to love, it gives you life, surrounds you, make you sweat, makes you shiver, flows in you, it is soft and gentle when it is calm and heavy and hard when it blows, but you still need it and can't live without it. Thank you for sharing this fine piece of writing.

Insight.

You are welcome ^_^
"my wave of passion
The storm of my core... " one of my fav. lines!

Very charismatic & captivating poetry you're seemed to be bled in... "My Air" .. ah, so sophisticated! Seemed:

"My air .. your breath
your air ... my breath..
the love - one cure ...
The sun in me, so warmed & raged, for sure
Winds, am I ... thunder - you are - an art
I lost me in you & you tear me apart
Ah ... "My Air ... your breath ...
the passion takes me to death."

What a beautiful concept your poetry has behind the lace of majestic thou' simplistic words. I kinda like how evocatively you wrote this piece.... would like to read its second version too (if you give some trouble to your "fingers" to write .. lol) ... however, enjoyed reading it. I kinda resonated much outta what you write .. & am sure, you've a beautiful way to express what your very heart to say ... in words. Keep it up!

-- it's a profound piece, lady lynn... -- we truly do live for "air" even if it's without "awareness"...

Air as the symbol of life, of breathing, of freedom, of necessity.

Love it.
