The Heart of Imagination

The Heart of Imagination

A Poem by ...

The seasoned evening

strutted a full-faced

orange kool aid moon.

Fully aware it was a marvel

it shot me an arrogant wink.

   Not once but twice.

I think I heard it laugh.

Well, it certainly flashed me an impish smile

not much different than my own

Ha! I actually had to chuckle... I wonder if it is only I who laugh at the moon? Imagination is the the sexuality of invention. Without it, the world would be left impotent. IMHO...

Fun and light read. Yet, profound implications lie in between these lines.

Thank you so much, Frank :)
I hear you what you scribbling around. *wink*
So how was your first date, mama? *kidding*

Well, i gotta have to adorn ya for choosin' a very appropriate title & working on it with superior words. Yeah, it all happens to everyone: "The Heart Of Imagination"... we all living in the shadow of love called seduction that has our hearts & so dang minds well neutralised with Ak47 affair of "not so" bullet proof love. Ouch! Where's your mama, huh? Every one's being misled by love even the whole universe as well. Living in the Netherlands of heart of imagination brings people fantasy that's half true & half delusional, but whatever it's, it often lulls the nights even the slightest dreams: "Swing Things Around." Enjoyed reading your latest shorty poetry. Looking forward to having more from your flesh - the heart's flesh. Lol

Now the moon is writing a poem about a far-off face that resembled its own. Something lighthearted to go with my morning coffee. Nice writing, Lynn.

Ah! The imagery, this is what I love about your poetry, they always spread a wave of imagination in the mind of the reader... Sounds like a vision of a moonlit night where moon is dancing with the stars... Lovely my frnd...
