My Body Lives In Seattle

My Body Lives In Seattle

A Poem by Treble
"

Just moved to a new place

"
My body wanders the sidewalks,
pressing buttons to traverse the streets,
roaming through crowds and traffic.
My body drags onto buses,
from stranger to stranger,
closed-lip smiling at unfamiliar faces.
My body is a dot in the middle of chaos,
watching the world happen,
drifting amidst a fast-paced people.
