introspective

I've climbed high mountains of doubt

Swam in the deepest seas of illusion

hiked rough trails of darkness

fought for right in bouts of confusion

I've held my head high,proud like a man

even cried the tears of a child

I've sweat and bled for victory

learned to accept defeat...with a smile

I've been everything and nothing

all at the exact same time

sacrificed everything I've loved trying to conquer the world

only to realize it was always mine.

I like the flow.Kinda rapper style.this poem made me think of a theory that everything is happening all at once,but we seperate it into our own time frame.Otherwise it would be too emotionally devestating to a person.

Oh wow I loved this. The ending is so powerful and I love your wording. You made the poem flow very nicely and the rhymes came out great, its really a very inspirational piece and a great testament to human life. Great job.
