Angela

Angela

A Poem by Ty
"

Angela.

"
Angela.
Changing the things she can no longer accept,
In-depth
In fact I agree
Dream.
Waiting,
It drains
Explicit or blatant
Rain layered the pavement in an overt manner
What doesn't drain trickles down in sheets to oceans
A concoction a potion
Hypnotist
Sleep.
Mesmerized but draining
It's ten in the morning,
She's headed back to New York.
Feel like I can't sleep
Infrared rendered negative,
Image
Insisted those dreams were a blueprint in pieces
Peace and war
Gravitating toward an exhausting approach
Weight of anchors
And still,
Levitating
A canoe adrift, I'd tease the waves
Good-natured mist
Help me understand or don't help at all
Channeling energy
Changing things I can no longer accept
River banks lining thicket and forest eventually achieving paradise.

A truly brilliant piece of work, exceptionally vivid, powerful. I really admire your fluid style and the tempo of the poem. Well done!
