poems have no empathy

 

i hate emotional meltdowns

that come at 3 in the morning

when all you really wanted

was to go to sleep

but then something had to remind you

that you're a f**k up

and the only thing you have to talk to

is a keyboard and a poem

that doesn't give a s**t

and the keyboard is pissed

because you're crying

and getting water

in its electronic parts

and it tells you that

you're even more of a f**k up

for writing a poem

about being a f**k up.

Great write. Kind of fun, like it's a blurted out rant.

It's 3:48 am and here I am. Reading a poem about a poem about f**k ups.
