Reading Minds

Don't we all wish we could read minds ?

just to know if someone else lives a life

as real as our own ?

Do they think the way I do

Do they feel the way I do

Do they dream and hope

hurt the way I do ?

What if we all live real lives ?

What if every person is a person

What if every monster and every saint

is just a person ?

 

The scariest thought of all is what if ?

What if we can read minds but no one is alive

what if we really are alone

the only mind to read our own.

I wrote this in about half an hour so it isn't awfully well thought out but it is a question that's always been in the back of my head, i hope you enjoy it
