Breathe.... Reconnect.... Recognize

 

 

 

Do you ever take time to listen to the wind?

Or the silence of snow, flowing softly on trees?

Do you sometimes enjoy, rain caressing your cheeks?

Deposing its moisture, with an aim to conquer....

 

Do you ever take time to smell nature’s perfume?

Or get all excited by the view of its charms?

Do you sometimes enjoy, the sound of its hosts

When plunged in the dark, each voice its hallmark ...

 

Do you ever take time to succumb to quietness?

Or the whisper of sand, sweeping its valley of peace?

Do you sometimes enjoy, the feeling of grace?

That only He, His Majesty, could bestow upon His creation....

I came across your poem and just couldn't stop reading the rest after the first line. This poem reminds me to breathe, learn to reconnect, and remember to recognise the beauty of the universe, the nature - God's favourite garden.
