At Peace

At Peace

A Poem by KeelyJane

I close my eyes only to still see the stars
I inhale the cool air, exhale burning breath
I float weightless and easy
Arms stretched out, open chest
Crack a smile at random, giggle now and then at nothing
Let thoughts frolic seemlessly
Embrace a mind calm
Sound becomes vibration, sensation surrounds
I fade into a moment, a moment stretched into many
Calming body and spirit, awake but dreaming
Not living
Just being

This one has the sound of a fruitful meditation experience, maybe even a semi-mystical one. Would that we could always attain that state where such calm prevails that we could "fade into a moment," for in truth, that is all we ever have. Good work here.

Beautiful photo and amazing words shared. We need places where we can know peace and calm. Not living, Just being. Hard to break the mold of real life. We must make time to think and relax. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.
