I Have a Father

I have a father.

He waits for me in heaven.

And I know I can’t wait

to see him.

 

I’m excited because

my father is the King

of all nations,

of all the Earth

and heaven.

 

I want to see my

Father to tell him

I love him and

I’m glad

that he died

for me.

 

You see

I’m not my Father’s

biological child.

He went as

far as to die

so I could be come

his child.

 

They tell

me I even look

and act like my Father.

And there is no

bigger complement

then that.

 

I have a huge

family, a place

I will always belong.

 

I want to go home, heaven,

To hug my father and

to tell him

I love him.

 

And I know my father,

God, will

welcome me home

with love and open arms.

Nice poem but it's sad that you are so keen to be up an away at such a young age. I feel that we are put here to experience the good and the bad that life has to offer and learn from the lessons life has to offer us. We can return as children but first we should learn to accept and love the life we have been given. This is why we are here, to accept who we are and change what we can.
