Back alive

Back alive

A Poem by grace
"

i choose the vibrancy in it...

"
always thought my darts were stuck at the same point
always shirked to force them centralize
after wandering through many seasonal floods
now my ghosts finally turned back alive
and now i say
let go of whats already gone, ceased and forgotten
'cause i wanna bloom gracefully
right through the dead and buried grounds
let it rain over my pastels, so
i'd use them draw rainbows in the lifeless cloudy sky
now i got no terror to breath, and i say
i'm ready to grow more
and this time if i get jostled towards the sidewalk
i'll build my own freaking shore

Hey, I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for reading it too, means a lot
ahaha i love the chutzpah in your closing! introspection and seeking can lead us to all kinds of places of self discovery .. and this one, in your poem, of letting go of the past, of negative thoughts and feelings that may accompany those memories .. turning instead to the here and now with faith and trust. Faith in knowing everything will be ok .. and comfort in the emotional trusting that melts away our terrors .. gives bloom to hope and courage .. love your poem .. i got into it for sure. .. syntax is a bit rough here and there but perhaps you meant it that way .. many writers do .. Merry Christmas Grace!

The above lines are needed. I believe we learn great wisdom when we learn. We must decide our journey, our place in the world. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

A poem that brings change. A poem that focuses on the future ahead, instead of the past. A poem of personal growth. Well conveyed grace.
