Long distance relationship

im coming my love,

 on the wings of a dove.  

 

 they do not fly fast,

 but our love will last.  

 

  you promised me and i promised you,

 that we would power through.      

 

 the distance wont keep us apart,

 we have love and thats a start.    

 

 i dont care if youre dad doesnt like me,

 if he'd give me a chance he'd see.  

 

  one day ill traverse the land,

 just to hold youre hand.    

 

 i cant right now,

 someday ill find ou how.  

 

 well be together,

 ill be beside you forever.      

 

 one day my girl,

 ill give you the world

This is a great poem, and I can relate to this personally as I'm currently trying to manage a long-distance relationship. However - I suggest editing all the little mistakes with capitalization and grammar and all that whatnot, as it would take this from good to great! Just a suggestion though, it's your poem to do with what you like. Good job, and please keep writing!
