Chapter 5: Rolling In the Deep.

The weekend had past and it was time for school again. Kasumi wasn`t looking forward to it. She was afraid of how Fernando would act around her or say to her. Kasumi woke up from bed and did her regular routine. As she was doing her hair she couldn`t help, but hear this song go through her head.

 

  "The scars of your love remind me of us, they keep me thinking that we almost had it all, the scars of your love, they leave me breathless, I can't help feeling,
We could have had it all."

   

 She sometimes listened to Adele to help her get through life. Maybe these lyrics were a sign that maybe her and Fernando wouldn`t work out or they shouldn`t be together. She couldn`t help but burst into tears. Why am I even trying? David was right I`m just a loser who will never match up to Fernando's level. Maybe I should just find someone else to like. Kasumi sighed. It was already her second time going to this school and she`s already not liking it.

 

     She heard a knock at the door as she was getting her stuff. Kasumi never heard a knock at the door at this time. She was abit curious to know who it was so she opened the door. ....She was shocked to see who it was. "Fer-Fernando?" She stuttered as she said his name. To be honest she was really just starstrucked by his appearance. He wore a tight black T-Shirt with blue jeans that fitted his legs well, and black nike shoes. His hair flowing in the wind making him look like he was some kind of hero of some sort.

 

     He placed a finger on her lips. "Shh. Don`t speak, let`s go." Kasumi was confused by what he meant. "Go where?" She asked. Before he answered he placed his lips on hers. It was a short kiss, but it was enough to take her breathe away. She smiled. "After what you said last night I came to realize that Olalla is not the one for me. You are."  He took her hand and walked her to school. "So this is where we are going?" Kasumi asked. Fernando nodded and continued walking. "Did you even break it off with Olalla?" Fernando stopped and looked at her. "Actually no, I forgot all about that." He ran a hand through his hair. "I can't tell her at school she`ll kill you." Kasumi shook her head then smirked. "Not until I kill her first." Fernando couldn`t help but laugh. "Ooh. Fiesty. I like that." He winked.

 

  "Kasumi! Fernando! What am I seeing here?" Tanisha ran up to them dragging Cris along. "You are seeing the new couple at Cruiser High." She smiled. Tanisha hugged her then hugged Fernando. "This is great! I`m so happy for you guys. Aren`t you Cris?" Cris rolled his eyes and nodded. "Yes, yes I am. Good work, Fernando."

 

 

   "Wait, did you tell Olalla?" Tanisha asked. "Or did you even break up with her?"  Fernando shook his head. "No, I forgot to call her to tell her it was over." Tanisha stood there for a moment shocked. "YOU DIDN'T? Girl, she's going to kill you!" Kasumi laughed. Sometimes Tanisha had her "moments" and this was one of them. "No, she won`t.  Believe me, just because I`m small doesn`t mean I can`t fight." They started walking towards the school now and Tanisha didn`t know whether to believe if Kasumi could fight Olalla. She was abit bigger than her and probably stronger.

 

    Kasumi spotted Olalla infront of the school and nodded at Fernando. "Let the games begin."
