I think not/ I do

I think not/ I do

A Poem by Stef Outsiders
"

I was having a classical moment, and was thinking of a song for a fairtale love story. It is duet between two, who's love is deeper than scars...

"

I Think not/ I do

Man:

There she was

Looking at me

Looking at a monster

So it seems

The first to

call me a person

call me by my name

and not be afraid

Could she love a monster?

Like I love her

Could she love a monster?

One that will protect her,

always had since she was young

Could she love a monster?

I think not

Woman:

There he was

Looking at me

Looking at a monster

so it seems

but I do not see

What he claims to be

A boy that warms my heart

I do love a monster

more than he could understand

I do love a monster

I love the boy I see inside

I always have

Since I was young

Duet:

Could she/ I do love a monster!

Does she need me

I do need him

We need each other

More than we both understand

Could she love a monster?

I do love a monster!

Could she love a monster?

I do, love a monster!

I think not...

I do...
