A Poem by A Stranger's Tale

Forget the meadows, the green hill side; uneven plateaus
I'd love to live inside your head
If you gave me that option (I'd surely choose)
Isn't it fair? How we once said;
You put your thoughts in mine
For mine in yours instead
How long will you keep
devils out of your zone
Or do I play this all out
Again on my own
Maybe I think; you should keep
Me, forever out of your head;
Should I have traded my words for your thoughts;
Then I'd long ago possibly already be dead.
