Lovers be kind

Lovers be kind

A Poem by A Stranger's Tale

Seeing the cluster of thoughts you concoct in your head
to your worrying smile you so bravely hold
to your deep searching eyes
which tears start to unfold
to the lips I so often press against mine
to the lingering tongue
with such great divine
to those special hand-held one breath moments

to your skin like pure vanilla sky
,

I will embrace and hold just as you are mine
for an important friend taught I,
that lovers be kind.

As Amy as said this poem could be developed further more to bring out more in depth feel which could take the poem deep into the readers mind, as of now this poem is fine and lines are short and crisp.. enjoyed reading your poem....

I like your metaphors. Great imagery.
Try to add more flesh to it because the poem is too short for any emotion to really shine through.
