My Heart's True Desire

 

The world spins chaotically in all directions,

Never have I ever been on top.

But when you walk in, the center of my affections,

The whole world comes to a complete stop.

Your smile lights up my world,

It makes me whole.

Your heart is like gold,

Love is the goal.

You are a treasure like no other,

The best thing to ever happen to me.

With a love better than any other,

Without it, I could never be.

When people ask what me;

What lights my fire?

There's only one thing it could be.
