She Is Like So

She Is Like So

A Poem by Vela June (or aira isane)

She lies on her arm
red with blood
So fresh, so bright
no pulse in sight.

She lies on her arm
eyes shut tight
So cold, so white
not a bit of a fight.

She lies on her arm
mouth agape
So blue, so light
undeniably right.

She lies on her arm
legs curled up
So soft, so tight
no longer upright.

She lies on her arm
red with blood
So fresh, so bright
no pulse in sight.
