Glascow Enemies

Glascow Enemies

A Poem by Julius Whitfield
"

The Title has nothing to do with the meaning or actions of the actual poem.

"

In her death
He saw she was painted white
coated in pallor, not gray
Just a thickening shade of innocence

In her sopor
Where her body remained still
He saw it was empty, with no soul

Filled with its innards
but void of the saga of life and death

In her death
he realized he was her grim reaper
diseased with an infectious touch of cancer
he could feel the sting of guilt
it suckled away at his vitality
Forcing him to rewrite this history
To act on revenge
