Prolouge

Prolouge

A Chapter by Veronica Lynn

Your destiny is made by your own beliefs and actions. People think fairy tales will never come true. No one believes immortals are real and think the human race should be immortal. Never dying is considered a relief and never aging is considered a phenomenon. My name is Rosalinda Aquamarine Summers and until now my life has been the best ever. Being an immortal is more than just never dying or aging, well for me I age until I’m eighteen and then sojourn. Having powers isn’t a good thing…okay maybe sometimes but still! Never dying, well that’s just…a curse. Unlike other immortals, I have a mission.

This reads to me as more of a blurb on a book jacket than a prologue. It gives a good sense of the Rosalinda's personality yet it teases the reader rather than provides some significant backstory that occurs before the events of the novel.

A very good prolouge. I like the honest and strong statements in the chapter. A very good ending. A outstanding prolouge.
