Shattered limbs lay strewn across wet ground

Splintered and broken, laying still in their defeat

Rain pound the dying, fallen leaves

Washing them away in waves of gray

Thunder rumbling the shaking Earth

Lightning ripping apart the dark skies

The Storm drifts on…
