World Perspective

This is what my eyes see when they look upon the world.

The world’s a cycle, a circle, a sphere

Influence merges together here

Once full bloom the petals fall

A generation rises above it all

We search for greatness as we live

Our greed is the factor that makes us give

Market, command, and mixed too

Will see us through days both black and blue

I'm in 10th grade, and I haven't learned too much about poetry yet. I decided to start with something small and build my way up. I'll be happy with any constructive criticism. Thanks!

Nice poem explaining the world i read your bio and i must say i relate a lot to you im also in the 10 grade i also was writing this story i had written 62 pages front and back on lined paper and i write very small and i asked my mom to read it but she said it was trash and i possessed no talent in writing or anything for that matter and she took all 62 pages and put them in the shredder as i watch two years of work getting shredded into million of pieces. After that i quite writing i was done i was tired of ignoring my mom hatred for my crappy writing even though so many of my teaches would of told me other wise and stopped writing because i believed her that i did suck after hearing it so much but i just started writing agian so i joined to get honest opinions About my writing i realized i went on a rant but my point is i can relate to you a lot keep up the good work

No... I can't believe she did that! Having your pages corrupt at a boot camp is one thing, but having someone tell you that it's trash and shred the pages? Ow... Just because one person in the world doesn't like a form of writing doesn't mean the other seven billion people would.

I guess we are in the same boat, having our works destroyed one way or another. Seeing our projects disappear with no way of returning. It also means we have something else in common: Perseverance. No matter what, we'll return. I'm rewriting my story, and you've started writing again, which is really awesome. I'll be looking forward to reading your works. :)

Its short and sweet wich i thought suited the poem, I liked the idea you have, especially the opening line " The worlds a cycle a circle a sphere" it was a good write well done :)
