you don't know me

you don't know me

A Poem by Victoria

you don’t know me

all the way through
you’ll only know me
when you’re
through with me

when I’m a rusty

piece of wire
when I’ve fulfilled
all your desires,
when I’m a piece
of melted plastic
you’ll say i was
a spastic girl
who thought the
whole wide world
of you
but to you,
I was nothing,

not a thing,

not even a thing.

This hits deep... the attempt of being a person... rather than just an object of affection... clearly states in the lines of this verse...
