They Just Won't Sit!

They Just Won't Sit!

A Poem by Lobster Goldberg
"

Another silly poem

"
Poor Nanny McFritt
Was having a fit
The children won't sit
Not for a bit!

She yells all the day
"Come sit and play"
But they run away
Her nerves start to fray

She offers them a treat
Or maybe some meat
If they would just take a seat
"Please stop and eat!"

She lures them with cash
But still they all dash
Now she's getting a rash
"When will they crash?"

Oh Nanny McFritt
Those kids will not sit
You can yell and you can spit
But you might as well quit.

So the lesson to learn
If your children do churn
You must always be stern
Or your butt they will burn.

Haha! Jeez, reminds me of life with a toddler. Just one of them is enough to frazzle you to pieces. Poor Nanny McFritt!
