how do you describe desire?

especially the one which

is trying to seduce you?

how does it smell and what colors do you see?

me - i see it as a dark brown honey

sweet and dimmed, and sticky - 

the more you move

the more drown

the more you wanna stay

and sweet soft smoke - 

of all the dreams and 

logic dissipating,

the more resistence -

the more persistance

and its so thick 

that I can almost cut it

but its too dangerous - 

and again I stop.

so short - I know - it will be

so I count days and hours in my

lovers' eyes

like ticking time bomb we both know

its one breath - and this love's  gone.

I like the way you try to capture desire through the language of the senses... 'dark brown honey' - smooth, sticky, sweet... 'soft smoke' - assailing the nostrils, that tangy smell that catches the breath....'tickling time bomb' - edgy, dangerous, explosive...

I like too the notion of persistence and resistance... the ingredients of tension, the arousal and hesitation, the want, the need, the fear, the anxiety...

For such is love... too often an illusion, like a bubble that bursts the moment it is captured, the wine that stirs in the mouth, then runs down into the belly... and out ... lost for ever in the river of life...
