Travelling Prayer

keep us safe Lord

 

 

Heavenly Father,
As we leave our homes,
To continue our daily tasks,
That puts food on our tables,
That keeps this shelter over our heads,
And helps us to clothe our families,

That strengthens our sense of dignity,
Give us a safe journey back to our loved ones,
And if we leave alone,
Guide us safely back,
So we can continue to be there for our friends and families.
And if there is no one to call or visit,
At least we have a familiar territory called home,
One that’s built by you Lord.
