Previous Version
This is a previous version of Time of Passing.

What can we say about this day?
It is a sad time. That, we can say
A loved one has passed; taken their last breath
Enveloped in darkness, by the blankets of death
But in that darkness shines a bright light
A light which brings about tranquil delight
He may be gone, but not forever
For behold! One day we will all be together
So let us rejoice, be merry, and tether
For there is no mourning that God cannot sever
Sing, dance, laugh and play
This is how it should be; as God would say
For those who are true in the eye of death
Shall never parish, but be at eternal rest
When we meet his same fate, it will not be in dismay
For we have each other and forever to stay
Not in this lifetime, but after facing deaths bay
So rejoice! Rejoice, I say
It is a time of passing for heavens timeless days

Very touching.
"A loved one has passed; Taken their last breath
Enveloped in darkness by the blankets of death."

Beautifully written though I am far from rejoicing. I miss my people so much and am not sure at all if we'll ever meet again.
