An Uncles Blessing

I love my little nieces ^_^

I look at my little nieces

And think, "Is there a prettier site?"

It's just like cream and peaches

Sprinkled with sugar to make it just right

Their laughter's the sound for ears to feast

One look would calm a raging storm

The sound could tame an untamed beast

A sight that makes your heart feel warm

You ask, "Would I do anything for them?"

"I'd surrender my life. How's that for a reply?"

They are like two precious gems;

Delicate butterflies in my eyes

Proud am I to be their uncle

A blessing are they unto the family

Without them there'd only be fists and knuckle's

No tender love for a soft caring hand

A very nice poem. Children are the reasons men and woman work hard and hope for good days for children to be able to have a good life. I like the description and desire in your words. A child love can weaken a man to know what is truly important.
