I'm A Cowboy

I'm A Cowboy

A Poem by Searching 4 Serenity
"

Another piece I threw together on a whim. WOOT!

"
Lets go have a party
Judge others for how they live
Get drunk at night with no purpose
Act like wild animals with no self-control

I don't care what you think
So I'll act like an indecent a*s
Because no one gives me the attention
That I should receive, for I am the limelight!

All eyes on me, fools
I am more important than you
Which explains why I walk around town
Like an insecure bad a*s who no longer cares

Because in the end
I'm lost to my self-thinking
As I continue crumbling down this path
You see, I'm nothing more than a stray cowboy

Author's Note

Searching 4 Serenity
Is it time for a wake-up call?
I really hope my ex-friend turns around soon before it's too late.

If you were as important as your friend thinks he is, you would be the same. Your friend needs some humility. Most people greet it, especially if you are his friend. Oh, and good poem!
