From the Point of View of a Freshly Scrubbed Floor

From the Point of View of a Freshly Scrubbed Floor

A Poem by Veronica

The kids all look at the 'wet floor' sign.

Then they look at me.

I'm clean.

I'm shiny.

I'm slippery.

I'm awesome.

I'm tiled and cream-colored.

The walls are also a cream color to match me.

Then one kid slips on me.

Ouch. That hurt.

But that's how it is everytime I'm freshly scrubbed.

Nice. Pretty funny, but could it have been a little longer?

Peace.

(Review one of my stories, very appreciated if you do. Thanks!)
