Misplaced

Misplaced

Deception of the human race,

A foreign state of state.

Been around the world trying to escape,

But the whole world's been misplaced.

When all the others go to waste,

It's just an empty space.

With every step I take I'm shaped,

I find myself in another place.

But there's a storm inside my head,

And somewhere in the dark,

I hear the whispering in my ears,

The words you never said.

And a whisper of my tragic fears,

I've been holding back for years.

For all my life I've been crying,

And I'm sick of all the lying.

The madness is inside my veins,

Consuming me all the same.

With this pain I'm ashamed,

Of the way I stayed and the way I played.

I will never be the same.

Every lesson that I've ever faked,

Is a lie I can't escape,

From the madness of the human race.
