On a Path

a lot of soul searching recently, and the desire to bring back the innocence carried in my youth

My apologies to all of you,

whom I have neglected

for far too long.

 

Years have passed, and

time has tarnished

a heart that was once open

for the world to see.

 

I lost the desire, the need

to feel free.

I lost the intentions, the want

to be seen.

 

On a path to recover

what hasn't already been lost,

I will make amends

to those neglected the worst.

 

And for the rest of the world,

my mind,

my heart,

and, my words

will be open once again.
