Another day, another sleepless night
it goes on again
I'm empty

If only I could tell you
just how hard it's been
I bet you'd finally see

why it's so bleak
I can't imagine trying to satisfy
this hunger for you.

This house is bare, since you been gone
I packed it all away
don't need a reminder

I swear it's not the answer
and I still have so many questions
more than thoughts of you still linger

do you believe
nothing else I know could satisfy
my hunger for you

and I am rotting
my heart erodes in your absence
it's senseless
this crime of starvation
it's all i have
and it leaves me breathless

Solitary lover, even if there were another
she won't compare
and I'll never be renewed

There's just one plate at this table,
I guess I lost the strength
to ponder you

Somehow I hold on
and it escapes me but I do
still hunger for you.

When i saw this on new writing i thought it was about actual hunger.. now i read and see ... starving for someone who is no longer with you.
The hunger that can't be satisfied. Even by another

"Solitary lover, even if there were another
she won't compare
and I'll never be renewed"

Very nice writing. I couldn't see the picture.. very inspiring it must be.
