Wendy

Wendy

A Chapter by Wendy Seames Garner
"

An acrostic poem about me

"

Woman - wife, mother, and grandmother

Enjoys - reading, writing, gardening and crafts of all kinds

Nearing - my sunset years

Dearly - loves her family

Yearning - for more time to write

It's fascinating to be able to read something in two different directions, and still have it make sense. And I like the way it portrays 'the sunset years' in a positive way, speaking of wholesome activities and family as something dear to your heart. Crafts, gardening and writing keep us busy and productive. I wish that some of our writers could adopt this viewpoint and get out of the dark, negative shadows they write about.
Well done.

I think it was part of a contest, they told you what to do, you just needed to find the right words.

Thank you, Gee! Written five years ago, there would probably be a few changes if written now.
