Confession Will Free You

Confession Will Free You

A Poem by Wandering Bard
"

Don't be weighted with the burden of something you needn't bear.

"

A secret is a whisper,

a whisper of the wind.

It is silent and elusive,

will taunt you to no end.

Fear is a shiver,

a shiver down the spine.

It is cold and unwelcome,

will surely not be mine.

Guilt is a sob,

a sob from within.

It is endless and painful,

will overwhelm you and win.

But confession will free you.

Confess to the world your secret,

let it taunt you no more.

Confess to the world your fear,

open up the door.

Confess to the world your guilt,

let it be sore

no more.

This is so wonderful. The flow and rhytm are brilliant. Probably the best LA assignment you have done so far. But remember, you don't always need some one else to give you an idea to write a poem. Just look at he world around you, or search your big head. He he he! Hope you keep writing these awsome poems, Wandering Bard! Again, this was a really wonderful and great poem and keep them coming! He he he he he he he!

I really like this, it captures the suffering that secrets, regret, and guilt cause us, and how unnecessarily! If life were to be lived without the constant worrying or regretting, we would be much happier and free to change our lives for the better! Great job with this! ^___^

LOVE it. Great job. I love how in every line in the first three stanzas says the same detail about each topic. Very well done.
