Ecouraging Love

Ecouraging Love

A Poem by A Wanderer of Dreams

My love my love do you care to see
What burden lingers behind me?
Look now my love into its eyes
The demon of past for my demise.

How ghastly is he in your view?
Does he cause you pain and suffering too?
Apologies I give on our behalf
I hope his strength will not last

My love my dear one I now see yours
Hiding deep inside with sharpened horns
He tears your heart so weak and bleeding
I can imagine how it feels so defeating

Bring him out from the depths of your soul
Let him fall behind let him grow cold
Free yourself from this dark cruel beast
My love don’t let him have his feast

Together we can conquer them both
We are the masters which matters most
If slaves we stay we will surely fall
My love remember we can defeat all

I love how you've created this lingering feeling that love is your twin and that together you face all that the world throws your way.
