Just Me...and Me Alone

Just Me...and Me Alone

A Poem by An Laech
"

I was given a word challenge using these words; style, broken, capsule, disguise and clever. I was also instructed to write about being alone. This is what I came up with.

"

Listen, can you here it?
That’s right, you cannot
Silence is a precious treasure
I refuse to let it be BROKEN

I sit here, all alone
In this CAPSULE in time
The darkness my CLEVER DISGUISE
Protecting me from all of you

No prying eyes or sneering glares
Just me and my thoughts
No one to judge my actions
No one to cramp my STYLE

These moments are when I’m real
When I am truest to myself
Nothing to gain, nothing to loose
Just me…and me alone

WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Rock on with ya bad self!!! See, now wasn't that fun? I'm SO PROUD of you Chad. Can you feel it? The change, the stepping out of the box, even in it's tinest measure. Now, just don't let Robin challenge you, LOL.
Seriously, I love this. It's raw, it's open, and it's you. All alone. Completely. :) Well done!
