I Remember

My list poem for creative writing.

As I sit here thinking about you, I remember:

 

You were scared of me at first,

 

You were always there for me,

 

You weren’t just a friend to me,

 

You used to come over just to see me,

 

You were one of the best friends I ever had,

 

You used to make me smile, just by being there,

 

And now that I think about it:

 

You’re the reason it didn’t work out.

Definatly not my best, but it works, and I had to get it done.

it is a bit stilted and the flow isn't as good as some of your other works. but the theme for the poem is good and I think with revision it could be a great poem. keep writing.
