Light’s Flight

 

the bells of hell bellow songs

of lament as the hordes

covered in the filth of sin

enter unto its gates 

 

the lights of heaven are dimmed

but not extinguished for those

who swam and still swim in the mud

 

salvation love forgiveness

are lights eternal

and even in the pitch black

fire of hell an infinitesimal pin prick

of God’s light still shines
