Blossoms

Blossoms

A Poem by WindSong

Blossoms

The season bends forth,

Bows gracefully unto the day,

Reflecting timeless images

In a quiet and gentle way.

Spring in utter magnificence

Returns with earthly wiles,

Flourishing with colorful abundance,

In a garden of budding styles.

Sparrows perch upon swaying limbs,

Thriving in wild rivalry

Before aisles of blossoms in the breeze,

Touching willows tenderly.

The delicate sounds of spring

Echo through nature's enchanting display,

A floral fantasy overflowing

In the beauty of the day.

Great imagery! Beautifully written piece... makes me anxious for spring! It's cold and dreary around here right now. This piece gave me some hope for warmth! Haha :) Well done!
